The Joto is one of our classic frame styles that recall the timeless feel of the 1960s and 1970s. These styles are popular in Japan, and feature metal details in the nose bridge and temples.

The advanced lens technology behind our High Definition lenses (HD) delivers superior optical clarity, high definition color contrast, and maximum eye protection in a nine-layer lens. Made with specialized Japanese expertise, High Definition lenses feature a unique combination of properties that ensure an enhanced performance to conventional polarized glasses. This High Definition lens has a silver vacuum deposition mirror coating applied. Compared to our standard multilayer coating, visible light transmittance is reduced by about 5%, providing a clear view in high-glare environments.

    Quite amazing lenses in these sunglasses! I read about them on heddels.com and order a pair for my girlfriend. But then I ended up wearing them because she didn’t like the shape, but it fits me perfectly. Haha.
    But seriously, I didn’t even think about returning these once. Those lenses are spectacular. The colors look super juicy and everything is crystal clear. I though the mirror finish would darken the view quite a bit. But the reality is that you don’t even feel like you are wearing sunglasses with these. I can wear them all day her in CA, and don’t get tired eyes. Great product!

    Great sunglasses. I was recommended them by a buddy and used his discount. I wear them daily now. Nice finish on the frame. Almost soft feeling. Also very sturdy. Dropped them a few times already.

    Solid sunglasses. Great Wayfarer like shape. They look and feel like quality eyewear.
    In hindsight I wouldn’t have gone with the mirror finish. It’s good quality, no scratches or anything. But it’s a very bright silver. I know, this is what mirror lenses are supposed to be, but I was hoping for a more subtle mirror effect.
    All in all, solid sunglasses though. I also like the case they come with. Very study and safe.

    Hi Billy, thanks for your feedback, We actually also offer a blue mirror finish that is lighter and less reflective. It also makes for a great effect when combined with one of our colored lenses.
