The Umeda is one of our classic frame styles that recall the timeless feel of the 1960s and 1970s. These styles are popular in Japan, and feature metal details in the nose bridge and temples.

The advanced lens technology behind our High Definition lenses (HD) delivers superior optical clarity, high definition color contrast, and maximum eye protection in a nine-layer lens. Made with specialized Japanese expertise, High Definition lenses feature a unique combination of properties that ensure an enhanced performance to conventional polarized glasses.     If you experience a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace the product at no charge within the first 5 years.

    Sirmont Frame

    A throwback style inspired by the fashions of the ’50s and ’60s, the browline frame is characterized by the accentuated top line which is designed to mimic eyebrows.

    This crossover between a Boston and a Sirmont has a bold round shape, softening the often masculine appearance of this style.

    All Shinzo Tamura frames feature premium polarized TALEX lenses, handmade in Osaka, Japan. The filter is designed to block 99% harmful UV rays - helping you keep your eyes healthy and see clearer.

    Perfect fit

    The non-slip nose-pads are made from skin friendly elastomer, providing the perfect fit. Flexible titanium arms relief pressure, and give Shinzo Tamura frames a distinct and classic style.

    Light & durable

    Shinzo Tamura frames are perfectly balanced, ultra light, and made from non-aging nylon material, perfect for an active lifestyle. The double-molded frames are flexible, extremely durable, and do not deform.

    The hinges are molded into the frame itself and benefit from the flexible and durable properties of the nylon material.
