In Japan, the combination of the classic shape of a Wellington and the soft familiar feel of a Boston is a favorite style called ‘Boslington’. A frame whose design looks familiar yet fresh. Inspired by true classics from Persol or Prada, our Tennoji has large lenses, and an overall soft form-language, combined with a lower bridge.

Our patented Granite lens offers the most true-to-life color reproduction, closely matching natural vision. As a lighter alternative to the Slate lens, it’s perfect for everyday wear in any weather, providing clarity and comfort in all conditions.

    The non-slip nose-pads are made from skin friendly elastomer, providing the perfect fit. Flexible titanium arms relief pressure, and give Shinzo Tamura frames a distinct and classic style.

    Light & durable

    Shinzo Tamura frames are perfectly balanced, ultra light, and made from non-aging nylon material, perfect for an active lifestyle. The double-molded frames are flexible, extremely durable, and do not deform.

    The hinges are molded into the frame itself and benefit from the flexible and durable properties of the nylon material.

    The lightest and loveliest pair of sunglasses I have owned to date. Feels like a cloud is on my face. Great sun protection but does not really fully conceal the eyes if you're looking for black outs. Love them thanks!

    These are my favorite pair of sunglasses I’ve ever had. They do not fall down the bridge of my nose. They are not too tight behind the ears. They don’t fog up. They don’t make you sweat under the nose pieces. The shape looks great on my face, my eyes feel so relaxed when I’m wearing them. I was skeptical because of how light the lenses look, but they are incredible. I love them for the ocean and the beach and any kind of bright outdoor activities. Truly, they are just incredible. I previously wore Smith sunglasses the lenses on these and the comfortability is so much better. Well worth the price. Would highly recommend.
