Wellington Frame

The silhouette of this classic style was first released all the way back in the 1950s. Since then it had multiple periods of resurgence, in the 80s, late 00s, and again today, making it a truly timeless style.

The Wellington has revolutionized the world of sunglass fashion forever. Some of them are true icons, like the Ray-Ban Wayfarer, or the Oakley Frogskins.

Premium lenses

All Shinzo Tamura frames feature premium polarized TALEX CR39 lenses, handmade in Osaka, Japan. Our light purifying filter technology is designed to block 99% of harmful UV rays and reflective light - helping you keep your eyes healthy and see clearer.

Perfect fit

The non-slip nose-pads are made from skin friendly elastomer, providing the perfect fit. Flexible titanium arms relief pressure, and give Shinzo Tamura frames a distinct and classic style.

Light & durable

Shinzo Tamura frames are perfectly balanced, ultra light, and made from non-aging nylon material, perfect for an active lifestyle. The double-molded frames are flexible, extremely durable, and do not deform.

Light weight, well balanced and great quality

This is my first ever pair, and I'm very impressed, I wanted something that wasn't owned by Luxottica and the quality is excellent.
I haven't had a chance to use them outside yet but it is light weight and fits nicely on my face without being too bulky or heavy.

Great Optics, Comfort and Value

There are so many choices of sunglasses available today. I was looking at replacing a great pair of Oakley sunglasses, but thought I should look around. Somehow I came across Shinzo Tamura sunglasses online and was intrigued by their lenses and frames. The price was about $75 - $100 less than the highest version of the sunglasses I was considering, so I decided to take a chance on order the Namba Slate from Shinzo Tamura. They were sent from Osaka, Japan and only took about 8 days to arrive to my home. Shipping was included in the price. The glasses seem incredibly well made and are good looking. The frames are light and comfortable and the lenses are excellent. I think I made a great find with Shinzo Tamura. Super pleased with this purchase.
