Designed as a homage to the classic Wellington style of the 50s. Forever made famous by the look of many Australian and Californian sunshades in the 80s and 00s, this Shinzo Tamura frame feels truly timeless.

Our Peridot colored Brightness lens is recommended for low-light conditions. This lens increases brightness, reduces glare, and makes colors appear more vivid. Ideal on rainy or cloudy days. Have a look at our lens guide.

The non-slip nose-pads are made from skin friendly elastomer, providing the perfect fit. Flexible titanium arms relief pressure, and give Shinzo Tamura frames a distinct and classic style.

Light & durable

Shinzo Tamura frames are perfectly balanced, ultra light, and made from non-aging nylon material, perfect for an active lifestyle. The double-molded frames are flexible, extremely durable, and do not deform.

The hinges are molded into the frame itself and benefit from the flexible and durable properties of the nylon material.

I recently invested in these premium Japanese sunglasses, and I must say, they've exceeded my expectations. The nylon frames are exceptionally durable, perfect for withstanding everyday wear and tear. Plus, the adjustable nose pads ensure a snug and comfortable fit for all face types, which is a rare find in sunglasses. The low light lenses are pretty great for cloudy days, but don’t wear them on full sun days. They are simply too bright.

Hi Sylvia, thanks for your feedback. You are certainly correct, the Peridot lens is not designed for strong light situations. This lens actually brightens your view on overcast days. It’s also very good when frequently coming in and out of shady areas, like hiking in the forrest. But it shouldn’t be used in full and strong sunlight. I can confidently say these sunglasses are a cut above the rest. Crafted with precision in Japan is not a lie. The nylon frames boast impressive durability without sacrificing comfort.
