The silhouette of this classic style was first released all the way back in the 1950s. Since then it had multiple periods of resurgence, in the 80s, late 00s, and again today, making it a truly timeless style.

The Wellington has revolutionized the world of sunglass fashion forever. Some of them are true icons, like the Ray-Ban Wayfarer, or the Oakley Frogskins.

I recently invested in these premium Japanese sunglasses, and I must say, they've exceeded my expectations. The nylon frames are exceptionally durable, perfect for withstanding everyday wear and tear. Plus, the adjustable nose pads ensure a snug and comfortable fit for all face types, which is a rare find in sunglasses. The low light lenses are pretty great for cloudy days, but don’t wear them on full sun days. They are simply too bright.

Hi Sylvia, thanks for your feedback. You are certainly correct, the Peridot lens is not designed for strong light situations. This lens actually brightens your view on overcast days. It’s also very good when frequently coming in and out of shady areas, like hiking in the forrest. But it shouldn’t be used in full and strong sunlight. You can refer to our lens guide for other suitable lenses.

I can confidently say these sunglasses are a cut above the rest. Crafted with precision in Japan is not a lie. The nylon frames boast impressive durability without sacrificing comfort.
This is my second pair (I also have a the Namba with slate lenses), and I use it on cloudy days, where they provide clarity and comfort like no other. If you're looking for premium eyewear that excels in challenging lighting situations, look no further than these Japanese gems.

Made in Japan, the quality of these lenses is simply unmatched. The nylon frames are incredibly lightweight, making them a pleasure to wear all day long. Additionally, the adjustable nose pads ensure a perfect fit for my low nose bridge, which is a rare find in sunglasses. They are ideal for low-light conditions. The lens enhances brightness, reduces glare, and makes colors pop, providing exceptional clarity even on the gloomiest of days. When I'm out with bright white clouds in the sky, these sunglasses never fail to deliver. If you're in the market for premium eyewear that combines durability, comfort, and superior lens technology, look no further than these Japanese beauties.
