The Wellington has revolutionized the world of sunglass fashion forever. Some of them are true icons, like the Ray-Ban Wayfarer, or the Oakley Frogskins.

These are not specifically recommended for driving by ST, but I love them for driving. I’m an Uber/Lyft driver in the Seattle area, and I often drive in the morning. These sunglasses are so amazing for the early and mid morning light up here. They are not too dark, and people can see my eyes, which is so helpful to make first contact with a guest in my car. I don’t feel like I’m hiding behind some mirrored sunglasses and be a weirdo.
I also love that they are light and comfortable to wear. The nose pads are soft and not just plastic like in many other sunglass frames. I’m happy about my purchase.

My second pair of Shinzo’s! Like just as much as the first. I also have the Namba frame with slate lenses. But I bought this one because I was intrigued by the “low light” lenses. Didn’t know what to make of that at first, but now that I have them, I totally get it. I wear them on these strange days where it’s overcast but weirdly bright out. I always thought that sunglasses are too dark for wearing on those days. But these are not. And the green tint kind of gives me a happy mood :)

I discovered these sunglasses on Instagram. The promise of lenses made for fishing had me interested. I was looking for sunglasses to use for fly fishing and I really liked the description of these on the website. Their lenses are ordered by type of fishing and light situation, which made a lot of sense to me. I chose the brightness lens because the rivers in Oregon are mostly in the forrest and have many shady areas. These leases work great for these spots. No irritation walking in and out of shady spots. The water stays clear and I can see details on the riverbed. They are not my main fishing glasses, but I love them for morning light, lower light days, and cloudy days. And I must say I’d be interested to try some of the other lenses too.

Hi Matt, thanks for your feedback! We’d love for you to try our other fishing lenses as well. The Slate lens will be great for most conditions, and the Copper lens will be your go to for those really bright summer days. Please let us know if we can help with finding the right lens.
