In Japan, the combination of the classic shape of a Wellington and the soft familiar feel of a Boston is a favorite style called ‘Boslington’. A frame whose design looks familiar yet fresh. Inspired by true classics from Persol or Prada, our Tennoji has large lenses, and an overall soft form-language, combined with a lower bridge.

Our Peridot colored Brightness lens is recommended for low-light conditions. This lens increases brightness, reduces glare, and makes colors appear more vivid. Ideal on rainy or cloudy days. Have a look at our lens guide.

    The non-slip nose-pads are made from skin friendly elastomer, providing the perfect fit. Flexible titanium arms relief pressure, and give Shinzo Tamura frames a distinct and classic style.

    Shinzo Tamura frames are perfectly balanced, ultra light, and made from non-aging nylon material, perfect for an active lifestyle. The double-molded frames are flexible, extremely durable, and do not deform.

    The hinges are molded into the frame itself and benefit from the flexible and durable properties of the nylon material.

    Recently snagged a pair of these premium polarized sunglasses, and they're a totally amazing! The Japanese craftsmanship is evident, and the nylon frames feel incredibly durable. The adjustable nose pads provide a good fit for me (I have a low nose bridge and high cheek bones).

    Thanks for your feedback! Yes, our frames are quite flexible. We love using nylon, it does not only have a good amount of flex, but it is also very durable and long lasting. We especially like the material for it’s graceful aging process. There is no whitening from the strong UV, and no brittleness, even after many years of use.
